TNUE Official Opening at He Ahi
On Friday 1st May 2026, our flagship tenant TNUE: Total Nutrient Use Efficiency held its official opening at He Ahi Eco-Business Park in Taupō. Te Pae o Waimihia Chair Ngahere Wall and He Ahi Chair Greg Stebbing spoke on behalf of both entities about what this innovative design and build facility represents for the future of He Ahi.
"TNUE is a great fit for our Park, with an innovative green fertiliser product that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and minimises nitrate leaching into our soils and waterways," noted Greg Stebbing. This milestone has been made possible through our partnerships with Contact Energy Ltd for the supply of geo-heat, and Wade Construction for the build of a carbon-neutral facility.
The day celebrated science and innovation, with Hon. Todd McClay speaking to the impact innovations such as this have on both agriculture and trade in New Zealand.
With Stage One lots set for release in the coming months, He Ahi is looking towards a future at its Eco-Business Park that promotes clean energy and supports businesses delivering positive environmental and commercial outcomes.
