Grants Increase
𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁ing 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁:
The Sporting Participation Grant has been established to support Te Pae o Waimihia members to participate in sporting and recreational activities through the subsidisation of participation-related expenses. DANCE is now also included as an eligible activity under this grant.
The value of the grant has increased to $200 per calendar year (previously $100) to contribute towards registration fees and subscriptions, uniforms and attire, equipment, and other participation-related costs.
The grant will be provided by way of reimbursement to the applicant, and/or payment by invoice or quote directly to the sporting or activity provider, up to $200 per calendar year.
𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁:
The Dental Grant has been established to support Te Pae o Waimihia members aged 18–39 years to access essential dental care and treatment through the subsidisation of dental-related costs.
The value of the grant has increased to $500 per calendar year (previously $250) to contribute towards dental consultations, examinations, treatments, and other associated dental expenses.
The grant will be provided by way of reimbursement to the applicant, and/or payment by invoice or quote directly to the dental provider, up to $500 per calendar year.
