Tēnā koutou katoa, Eight months into the General Manager role at Te Pae o Waimihia Trust, I am humbled by the privilege of serving our hapū and the opportunity to help drive our mahi forward. Over this time, we have focused on setting up the systems and structures that enable our Trust to function well and deliver on our strategic goals. Ngā Mihi – Our Thanks I want to extend a mihi to all the members who participated in our recent survey. Your feedback is one of the key pillars of who we are as a Trust. It ensures our hapū members have genuine avenues to communicate their needs and aspirations, and it guides what we do. The survey has shone a light on what matters most to our members for the future. One significant insight emerged: Many of our members are seeking support through grants that are already available. This tells us something important, we have work to do on how we communicate with our members. In the coming months, we will be working to make sure our grants process is easy to navigate and that we communicate what is available well. So keep an eye out on our Facebook page and your emails. Hui-ā-Tau Our Annual General Meeting is coming up in the next month. We welcome all members as another opportunity for our hapū to share your thoughts with Trustees and management, and for us to stand accountable to you. I look forward to seeing you all there.
